Hometrax is committed to protecting your privacy. The Hometrax Privacy Policy, detailed below, is designed to inform you about the services Hometrax provides that relate to your personal information, the information Hometrax collects and the ways in which Hometrax uses the information we collect, with whom we may share it, and the choices you have about such uses.

Your use of Hometrax constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Policy and all Hometrax Privacy terms stated herein. The Privacy Policy may be changed at any time by Hometrax without notification to you. We encourage you to read the privacy policy thoroughly and review it periodically.

1.     Information Hometrax collects about you.

Personal information you provide:

·       Hometrax collects required information you provide that may identify you, such as your name, address, and email address. This information is stored on Hometrax servers. Hometrax makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the servers are secure. You may update or review your personal information at any time by logging into your Account page.  You may request to have your account deactivated by contacting us and requesting deactivation (see Contact Us for contact information). Once you have deactivated your account you will no longer be able to log into your Hometrax account. Your information will no longer be active but may exist on Hometrax servers for some period of time due to routine backup and security procedures.

·       Hometrax collects additional information you may choose to provide when you create your home profile, group, or other on the Hometrax site. This information is also stored on Hometrax servers and may continue to be stored there as part of routine backup procedures even after you have changed or deleted this information. Hometrax makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the servers are secure. You may choose not to provide additional information but this may limit the extent to which you are able to use Hometrax services.

·       Hometrax collects information about others that you may provide to Hometrax, such as names and email addresses if you invite friends or service providers to join your Hometrax group. This information is stored on Hometrax servers. Hometrax makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the servers are secure.

Other information Hometrax collects:

·       Hometrax uses technology to collect information about how you use the Hometrax site. This includes but is not limited to the pages you visit, how long you stay on those pages, and which links you click. This information is not personally identifiable; it is collected in bulk to show trends and to measure patterns of behavior on the site. Hometrax uses this information to improve programming and to understand the interests of its audience. Hometrax shares this information with partners so that they may more effectively tailor their advertising and marketing campaigns to the Hometrax audience.

·       Third parties who are Hometrax partners may collect, use and share information from the Hometrax site with other partners of theirs. This information is not personally identifiable; it is collected from the Hometrax site in bulk to help partners identify trends and to better tailor their programming, advertising and/or marketing campaigns.

2.     Use of technology in information collection

Hometrax automatically collects information about you when you visit the Hometrax Web site. Hometrax uses cookies and other technology to collect information about you and provide personalized services to you. Cookies track your Web activity by recording, for example, what pages you visit, the length of your Hometrax Web site visit, and links you click to exit Hometrax. In addition, third parties may collect information about you when you interact with their advertisements or content on the Hometrax Web site. This information is not personally identifiable. It is collected in bulk and used to identify trends, and audience preferences and habits. It is also used in valuing advertising on Hometrax.

3.     How Hometrax uses the information we collect about you

Generally, Hometrax uses the information we collect about you to:

·       Create a Hometrax account for you.

·       Manage your relationship with Hometrax, including providing customer support.

·       Deliver services and information you request including lists of service professionals, groups and events in your community.

·       Deliver services and information that Hometrax or third parties believes will be of interest to you based on synergies with your information.

·       Develop and display content and advertising that you may enjoy based on synergies with your information.

·       Enforce Hometrax Terms.

·       Manage our business.

4.     How Hometrax shares your information

Hometrax shares your information with partners as described below. We will inform you and give you the opportunity to opt out of any other kinds of information sharing.

·       Partners, including business partners engaged in advertising, marketing, web tracking, direct mail, financial processing, and other business functions for Hometrax.

·       Service Providers so that they may provide bids or get in touch with you, at your request.

·       Business partners who may offer you targeted services relating to your activities on Hometrax. You may opt out of receiving promotions for these services by sending email to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  It may take up to two weeks to process your request.

·       Other:

o   Hometrax will disclose information in response to a legal demand such as a subpoena, court order or other request from law enforcement; to defend legal claims, or to comply with the law.

o   Hometrax will disclose information related to a potential business transaction such as a merger, corporate sale or bankruptcy.

Third parties to whom Hometrax releases information are governed by their own privacy policies. Once you leave the Hometrax Web site for any purpose, including by clicking on a  link from the Hometrax Web site to a Web site operated by a Hometrax partner, Service Provider or member, you are no longer under the protection of the Hometrax Privacy Policy. Hometrax is not responsible for information shared intentionally, automatically or inadvertently on other sites reached through Hometrax.

5.     How Hometrax protects your information

Hometrax is serious about protecting your privacy and securing your personal information. Hometrax servers meet generally accepted best practices standards for security. In addition, Hometrax processes are designed to protect personal information. Access to personal information is limited and personal information is encrypted, so it is not personally identifiable by any Hometrax employee, partner, service professional or potential infiltrator.

Hometrax makes every effort to ensure that your personal information remains secure. It is impossible to completely secure any system, however. Hometrax does not promise or represent that your personal information will always be secure.

6.    Participation in groups

If you choose to participate in Hometrax groups you may be invited to share personal information with other members of the group. Your information may become publicly available through searches or if other members of the group capture the information and share it. Hometrax cannot control who reads your personal information if you choose to share it with a group. Use caution and discretion when posting your personal information on Hometrax or any other Web site. Information that has been posted cannot necessarily be deleted, retracted, changed, controlled or corrected.

7.    Children under age 13 are not allowed on Hometrax

You must be 13 years or older to use Hometrax. Hometrax does not allow children under age 13 to use the site. Hometrax does not knowingly collect information about children under age 13. Children ages 13-18 are strongly encouraged to be especially careful about information they share on Hometrax. Children ages 13-18 must have parental permission to use Hometrax. Hometrax is not responsible for monitoring permission for members ages 13-18.

8.     Other

Hometrax does not imply or guarantee any specific outcome resulting from use of the Hometrax site. Although Hometrax works hard to ensure your privacy, Hometrax does not guarantee your privacy when using the Hometrax site.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the state of Washington. Any issues that arise will be mediated in accordance with those laws.
